River Valley Newspaper Group’s “2014 Big Buck Scrapbook”
Official Rules, Terms and Conditions NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
All photos submitted to the “2014 Big Buck Scrapbook” are entered into the contest to win a Menards gift card. Photo entry must take place between 12:01 a.m. on October 5th, 2014 and 11:59 p.m. on January 11th, 2015.
The maximum number of entries per person is one. Each entry will be placed into one of three divisions: Adult Male, Adult Female or Youth Division by the River Valley Newspaper Group contest committee. Division classification will be determined by the RVNG contest committee based on age and gender of the hunter.
DIVISIONS – There are three divisions. Entrants who are male and above the age of 18 years old by January 11th, 2015 are eligible for the Adult Male Division. Entrants who are female and above the age of 18 years old by January 11th, 2015 are eligible for the Adult Female Division. Entrants either male or female between the ages of 10-17 years old as of January 11th, 2015 are eligible for the Youth Division.
RULES REGARDING ENTRIES - All entries must be submitted electronically on the “2014 Big Buck Scrapbook” to be eligible for the contest. Entry must be complete and accurate to be considered eligible. All entry forms must be filled out properly including first and last name, username, email address, age and gender. River Valley Newspaper Group (RVNG) reserves the right to reject improperly marked entries or entry forms for any reason.
Participants must be a minimum of 10 years of age. Winner may have to show proof of age. This promotion is void wherever restricted or prohibited by state or local laws.
ELIGIBILITY - Employees of Lee Enterprises, River Valley Newspaper Group, and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising agencies, and immediate members of their family are not eligible to win.
PRIZES – There are three prizes, one for each division. Prizes include three Menards gift cards. One (1) winner from each division will receive a $500 gift card from Menards. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received for each division.
Any taxes or additional expenses associated with the awarded prize are the responsibility of the winner.
ENTRY DEADLINE - Users must register by no later than 11:59 p.m., January 11th, 2015
LOST ENTRIES – River Valley Newspaper Group assumes no responsibility for failure to receive any entry form for any reason.
NON-RETURNABLE ENTRIES -- All entries become the property of River Valley Newspaper Group. By submitting an entry form entrants consent to the collection, processing and use of the information contained in the entry form by RVNG for any purposes it sees fit, including the use of this information for marketing purposes by RVNG or for third party companies at the discretion of the RVNG. Winners allow RVNG the right to use their name and/or likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
No cash redemption or prize substitution allowed by winner. River Valley Newspaper Group reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Winners will be determined on basis of selection of the RVNG contest committee. Selection will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to; photo, points, spread, and details of harvest. Winner will be notified by e-mail within 48 hours of promotion ending. If winner does not respond to notification within two (2) days, it will be assumed that the prize is being forfeited.
By the act of entering, an entrant agrees to abide by the above rules.
River Valley Newspaper Groups reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.
